    Socially Speaking Success is a highly regarded program in its ninth year which addresses specific communication skills related to social interaction.  It is run by licensed speech pathologists and an occupational therapist who are committed to working as a team to provide social communication skills and sensory integration skills in a structured setting.  Additionally, we offer parents practical suggestions for carryover across social settings.  Parental involvement and support plays an integral part of the program to insure success for participants. 
Socially Speaking Success teaches social language skills (pragmatics) and fine motor and sensory integration skills to children and young adults in Montgomery County, Bucks County, and the Greater Philadelphia area.

·       Sessions are targeted for individuals 
3-18 years of age

 

·         Ideal for those with:

o    Social Pragmatic Delay

o    Asperger’s Syndrome

o    Pervasive Developmental Disorder

o    Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

o    Non-Verbal Learning Disability

o    Fine Motor Skill Delay

 

·    For individuals who may demonstrate difficulty with the following:

  • Feeling socially isolated

  • Initiating and maintaining conversation

  •  Reading non- verbal cues

  •  Executive functioning

  •  Making and keeping friends

  •  Perspective taking

  •  Job related social interactions
